Good morning lovelies! I hope you all had a great Christmas yesterday! What did you do to celebrate? I went down to SO to see my family and it was so nice to get out of Portland! I think I’m turning in to a softy as I age you guys…Anywho, today I’m sharing some different brow gels I’ve been using for several months, one of which is a complete DUPE for the Anastasia Beverly Hill Clear Brow Gel! Check out my complete brow gel guide below!

#1 – Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel

In case you guys have never tried this magic, let me tell you a little bit about it. This brow gel is long lasting and has the strongest hold of any brow gel I’ve ever tried (it’s like someone went all petrificus totalis on your eyebrows). It’s clear (available here), but comes in different shades if you’d rather use a tinted brow gel (check the widget below for different shades!). I used this product for probably about 2 years without trying any other brow gel, it’s THAT good. My only con would be that it can sometimes get a little flaky (clear flakes, but still).

#2 – Rimmel London Brow This Way Clear Style Gel

I bought this brow gel in the clearance section of Walgreens, and there is definitely a reason it was on clearance (and that reason is cause it sucks). This product is extremely goopy and wet feeling when you apply it to your brows, and it doesn’t have the same kind of hold as the Anastasia. It feels like it is holding my brow hairs in place only because of the thickness of the product. I would definitely not recommend this brow gel as a comparative product to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, but it is really inexpensive so if you’re on a super budget and want to try it out, it’s available here.

#3 – H&M Clear Brow Shaping Gel

I recently bought this product online during some Black Friday Shopping at H&M (which in and of itself was quite the experience – a story for another time perhaps?). I like this product because the formula goes on smooth and it’s not chunky. It definitely feels similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills, except the hold is not near as strong. I would say this has a light hold. It holds my brow hairs in place but doesn’t make them feel stiff. I’d probably have to reapply this in the evening before I go out, which is something I don’t have to do with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. I would recommend this product to someone who is on a budget, because it’s only $7.99 right now at H&M’s website (available here).

#4 – Ulta Clear Brow Gel

This is the last brow gel that I want to talk about, and it is definitely the most surprising find. I don’t usually care for Ulta brand products, but I thought I’d try it out anyway since I knew I wanted to post about brow gels. I was so surprised by the quality of this product! The consistency is slightly wetter feeling than the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel, but the hold is just as strong, and I don’t get any clear flakes at all from using this product, like I do with the Anastasia. The only con is that you actually can’t buy this product by itself yet at Ulta! ***insert a million sad faces here*** You can still purchase (or get for free) the gift that it comes in here.

I hope this comparison was helpful to you guys! Basically to sum it all up, I LOVE the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel. It’s been my ride or die for forever, and I would buy it again. However, I am a girl that loves to save money, so if the Ulta Clear Brow Gel was available for individual purchase, I would buy it over the Anastasia ONLY to save money, as I still feel like the Anastasia is the best brow product that exists 🙂

Hope you guys had an amazing Christmas! Next up, New Years!

xo,
