Hey babes! My posting schedule has been a little off the past two weeks and I’m sorry about that! I’ve been working on a project I’ll be sharing with you soon, and it takes a lot of my time! For today’s post though, I’m excited because one of the sweetest ladies I know, Harriet, partnered with me to showcase a tulle skirt from her holiday collection!
A basic white button-up shirt is a staple piece every woman should have in her wardrobe. You know what’s funny though? I’ve literally NEVER purchased one. Not until I found this one in one of my Le Tote boxes. I loved it immediately because of the extra added details! They give the shirt an elevated vibe and no so basic work blouse that everyone has.
Happy Friday! I’ve been talking a lot about body positivity and living an all around healthy lifestyle this week, and I’m gonna keep the theme going with this post. Monday I shared 5 tips on how to boost body confidence, and today I want to apply those tips on how to rock a glam look! If you have a fancy event coming up (and let’s be honest, we’ll all have to dress up at least once in our lives!), then this post is for you 🙂
Body confidence is something I’ve struggled with most of my life. Growing up I would always eat more than I was hungry for to try and gain weight. My friends in middle school would make comments about my weight and tell me that I was too skinny. Then in high school, I had a best friend who was SO gorgeous and was a few sizes bigger than me (meaning she was like, a size 6 compared to my 2, so silly to think back on now!). I was so jealous that she had boobs and a butt, and I was super narrow and bony. I never realized how my jealousy was more about not feeling good in my own body until I was much older, after my overeating turned in to too much weight gain. Once I was at the point of being overweight and not feeling good about myself from an opposite extreme, I started thinking back and realizing it was time to really try and love my body. I know there are a lot of people out there who also struggle with their self-image, so I wanted to share 5 tips I live by for boosting body confidence.
Happy Wednesday loves! If you’re a blogger or just love getting a good photo on Instagram, then I bet you notice when a restaurant or coffee shop is “Instagram worthy.” Sometimes I’ll even save locations in my phone when I see bloggers at a cute brunch spot around town! Since I’m always on the hunt for these aesthetically pleasing spaces, I figured I’d share my top 5 Instagram worthy cafe’s in Portland, Oregon!
I have a confession to make…I’m literally the worst when it comes to shopping! For some reason, I hate trying on clothes. Weird, right? Especially since I’m a blogger LOL. I love searching for and finding that perfect new item, but when it comes to taking off my clothes and trying it on, ugh, it just makes me cringe! This is why I shop online almost exclusively, but knowing where to shop can be tricky. There are tons of online boutiques to shop at, but until I started blogging, I had no clue what they were! Now I have a few specific stores I always check when looking for a particular item, like this embroidered dress. In this post, I’ll show you where you can shop for similar items, no matter your budget!
The number one staple item in almost everyone’s wardrobe, is denim. Denim jeans, skirts, jackets, and even tops are so classic and versatile, they’re always on trend. I definitely have a few denim pieces in my closet that I absolutely love and wear on repeat all season. My favorite thing about denim though? Definitely the way you can mix it up. Lately, we’ve been seeing things like frayed edges and embroidery on our denim, and I’m loving it! It’s so inspiring to see brands and designers taking denim to the next level with these trends, and in this post, I want to show you the top 5 fall denim trends I’ve noticed that are definitely here to stay.
