They answer to that, my friends, is abso-freaking-lutely! I am seriously in love with this plaid tulle skirt from Maison Jules that I got at Macy’s last winter. It is so cute and feminine and it would work so perfectly for holiday parties (yes, I know it’s July right now, I don’t care!). And I’m super sorry guys, it’s no longer in stock and I can’t find a similar version that really compares! (If you like this look though, you can always try re-creating a similar style with a tulle skirt and flannel/plaid blouse and pumps!)

Since the skirt is very feminine, I wanted to add a sexy top and accessories. This open back blouse from Express worked out perfectly! I love the wine color (again, perfect for a holiday party this winter!), and it is so comfortable! (Cute long sleeve similar version here)

I also paired the backless blouse from Express with a really cute mixed material choker (here), also from Express! I’ve been on a 90’s kick lately and I am so stoked that chokers are back in style, cause how fun is this one! I love how you can wear it with the tassels hanging in the back, like I did below, or you can switch them around to the front if you want!

A classic feminine outfit wouldn’t be complete without the perfect pair of heels, which is why I wore these Nine West Flax Pointed Toe Pumps from Macy’s (higher heel version here) to complete this fun and comfortable look!
