embroidered dress

I have a confession to make…I’m literally the worst when it comes to shopping! For some reason, I hate trying on clothes. Weird, right? Especially since I’m a blogger LOL. I love searching for and finding that perfect new item, but when it comes to taking off my clothes and trying it on, ugh, it just makes me cringe! This is why I shop online almost exclusively, but knowing where to shop can be tricky. There are tons of online boutiques to shop at, but until I started blogging, I had no clue what they were! Now I have a few specific stores I always check when looking for a particular item, like this embroidered dress. In this post, I’ll show you where you can shop for similar items, no matter your budget!

My Favorite Embroidered Dress

First off, let me show you my favorite embroidered dress that I’ve been wearing! Le Tote was kind enough to let me try out their rental program for free, and one of the pieces I received was this dress from Esley. I ordered this in a size small and it fits great, however I do wish the slip was a bit longer. I’m tall (5’8″) and it barely covers my booty #JustDon’tBendOver! I really love this style though, I think it’s a beautiful dress for fall/winter (especially with the holidays approaching!), and it’s a great way to continue wearing floral throughout the season! I could see this dress being perfect for a holiday party, and it would even be cute as a Halloween costume! Just add a sugar skull makeup look and a flower crown and you’re good to go, how cute would that be?!

Where to Shop Embroidered Dresses

Since this dress is really only available from Le Tote, I wanted to share a few places where you can find a similar one! I’ve broken it down by budget, so no matter what you want to spend, you’ll be able to find the perfect embroidered dress 🙂

Under $50

Two stores that are great for finding trendy pieces on a budget, are Forever 21 and Asos. Asos is an online only store, but they have so many cute things! Here are a few pieces I love from both stores, ranging between $12-$42!

$50-$100

If you want to spend a bit more, I would suggest looking at Asos and Lulu’s (another favorite online boutique of mine!). Forever 21 also has a few pieces that are more spendy, but freaking adorable!

Over $100

Lastly, I have been shopping at Nordstrom quite a bit lately. They always have great sales, they stock most of my favorite brands, and I never have any hassle with shipping or returns. This is definitely the place to shop (whether in store on online) for more high-end or name brand pieces!

Where do you shop for affordable trendy pieces? Leave me a comment and let me know! Happy Halloween!

B
