top 3 cleansers

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! What is everyone up to today? I’m thinking about making some blended strawberry margaritas at my place to celebrate tonight! Strawberry margaritas are one of my favorite springtime drinks, and today I want to tell you about another springtime favorite! So without further ado, here are my top 3 cleansers that I’ve been loving this spring 🙂

Shop My Top 3 Cleansers!

#1 Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser

The first cleanser on my list is from Kiehls (available here). This cleanser is very mild and non-scented (one quality I love in a cleanser). It feels really thick and gel like when applied, but as you wash it off it becomes foamy. I love that it cleanses my face without over-drying and stripping. In fact, my skin does not feel dry at all after using this cleanser.

#2 Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash

This product (available here) is tied for me for #1! It does have a peppermint scent, but it’s so refreshing that I actually love it! I also love how frothy it is (duh, it says “frothy face wash” Brittany…). You literally only have to use a dime size amount and you’ll have plenty of product for your entire face and neck. This product does dry my skin out a little more than the Kiehls does, but I’ve come up with a system. I use my Kiehls in the morning, and the Origins at night for a super “cleanse the day away” feel.

#3 Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil

Ok, ok, this isn’t so much a cleanser, it’s definitely more of an oil. I really love this product (available here) as a pre-cleanse though, so I had to include it. It’s great for dry or oily skin (I have combination skin and I love it). I generally use this product to cleanse away my makeup, before I use my Origins cleanser. I must say, I never understood the importance of using an oil based product, but it does wonders for my dry patches and it’s very gentle. I know a lot of people rave about the Clinique Cleansing Balm, and I’ve tried that product as well. For me personally, the Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil is better. I like that the product goes further than the Clinique.

These products are the cleansers I use on a weekly basis and I love how they work on my skin. What are your top 3 cleansers that you’ve tried? Let me know in the comments and have a fun and safe Cinco de Mayo!

xo,

B
