Happy Monday b-listers! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! Today I want to talk to you about my recent day trip to Seattle that I took on Saturday with my blogger wife Rachel from One Pot Slop.

LOL obviously my hubby went as well, as you can see from his creeper face in the background. Rachel and I came up for a Fashion Show at The Marketplace at Factoria in Bellevue, and we decided we should make an entire day out of it (especially since Rachel has lived in Portland for like 7 years but has never been to Seattle!).

STYLE WATCH!

For my first look, I wore a cropped sweater from Forever XXI (available here), black Nike runner leggings (here), Nike running shoes (similar here), and a Columbia Sportswear rain jacket (similar here). My inspo behind this look was comfy (a.k.a. lazy), athletic, and trendy.

The first thing we did and one thing you absolutely must do if you ever get to Seattle, is to walk along Pike’s Place Market and visit the Gum Wall. Make sure you take some gum with you, so you can add your own piece to the wall!

The second thing we did was attend the Fashion Show at the Marketplace at Factoria in Bellevue. Bellevue is a community about 20 minutes east of Seattle. It has a lot of nice shops and a fun small downtown area. We definitely did a little shopping at Kahini Fashion (one of the designers from the show) because they have custom designer dresses that are absolutely gorgeous!

STYLE WATCH!

For my second look, I wore the same running pants (cause lazy, that’s why), some black suede booties from DSW (similar here), a knit grey sweater from H&M (available here), and a leather choker from Express (here). This look was still comfortable and cozy, but more appropriate for a fashion show.

Lastly, what you absolutely have to see is the Seattle Space Needle. I have actually done this before, but I really wanted to go up to the highest point this time and have a drink, but I didn’t realize that you have to actually schedule a time to go up. I would definitely recommend checking the available times before you show up, cause parking can be a little crazy.

I hope you guys got some inspiration on what to do with 8 hours in Seattle, as well as what to wear in the Seattle rain! Have you ever been to Seattle? If so, let me know what your favorite thing to do is!

xo,

B
