One of my favorite “me-time” activities has always been getting a mani/pedi. I love sitting in the massage chairs, soaking my feet in the warm water, and the feeling of being pampered and taken care of instead of taking care of everyone else (mom’s am I right or am I right??). Plus, my nail lady is super quiet and shy and doesn’t talk much, which is such a relief to me as I spend all day listening to people talk. The bummer thing about this self-care routine though? It gets spendy. Especially if you’re like me and are hard on your nails. Even with shellac, my nails only last two weeks TOPS, but usually more like one. I’ve recently found a solution though! I discovered Londontown, a cruelty-free nail care brand that I’ve been using for about a month and a half to create my easy nail art manicures!

My at-home Manicure Routine
Now that I’ve discovered Londontown, I’ve been giving myself at-home manicure and pedicures for about a month and a half. They were kind enough to send me four beautiful colors, plus their gel base and top coats. As soon as I tried the Gel Genius Base Coat and Gel Genius Top Coat, I was immediately shook. The quality of the product and how similar it was to a shellac gel was so impressive!
When I’m giving my self a manicure at home, I like to file and buff my nails before applying this base coat. I always feel like it helps the base to stick to my nail and provides a longer lasting manicure. The base coat dries pretty quickly, so I don’t have to wait long before going in with my color.
The four colors I chose from Londontown are beautiful and they can really take me through all seasons. I chose:
- Notting the Fancy (on my toes right now!) – great fall/winter color
- Dolly Mix – would look amazing on tan/dark skin tones!
- Bell Flower (the color on my nails in these photos!) – such a pretty limoncello color
- Summer Fling (the color I’ll be wearing to Las Vegas this week!) – the perfect pink for spring and summer
Bell Flower and Summer Fling are my absolute favorites! I’m literally going to be wearing them all the time. I love how fast the polish dries so that I don’t have to spend a million hours doing my nails. The pigment is really rich too, so I only need two coats!

It was always a chore for me too! I think part of the problem was not having high quality products tho!
