Pink Smokey eye tutorial

This season is all about color and I’ve been loving wearing bright tones. Experimenting with different colors, patterns, and styles is one of my favorite things about fashion, and it doesn’t stop with clothes! I’ve also been trying out fun new shades on my eyes, and my new fave is pink! I thought I’d share this new obsession with you and show you how I get my new signature look with this pink smokey eye tutorial that I’ve done twice in the past week!

The Eyeshadow Palette you need to Achieve a Pink Smokey Eye Look

I’ve used COVERGIRL for years and have always loved their eyeshadows, but this new palette I’ve been using is next level! I’ve been using the NEW COVERGIRL Reign Eyeshadow Palette lately and I’ve been able to achieve two pink smokey eye looks in the last week with all the fun colors. Every single shade is extremely pigmented and there is barely any fallout, something I’ve found is a problem with a lot of pigments. I like to do my eyes last, so not having any fallout with this palette is a huge plus for me!

I love the COVERGIRL Reign Eyeshadow Palette because of it’s versatility. The first look I created was for a date night with the hubby! We were going to dinner and then out to an arcade room/bar, which totally screamed 90’s to me so I used this palette to create a fun look. Here are the steps:

  1. Use a dense brush to blend “GOOD FOR YOU” across your lid and crease area.
  2. Next, with a pointed or slightly fluffy brush, go in with “LAVISH” in your crease, starting with the outside and working your way in.
  3. Take the fluffiest eyeshadow brush you own and BLEND LIKE CRAZY around your crease and eyebrow bone area.
  4. Last step is to line your eyes using a fine tip brush with the color “HIGH LIFE.” This fun blues really plays up that 90’s theme!

I also used my COVERGIRL Reign Eyeshadow Palette to create a smokey eyeshadow look with three other colors in the palette! Here are the steps:

  1. Use a dense brush to blend “PREROGATIVE” across your lid and crease area.
  2. Next, with a pointed or slightly fluffy brush, go in with “NEXT OF KIN” in your crease, starting with the outside and working your way in.
  3. Take the fluffiest eyeshadow brush you own and BLEND LIKE CRAZY around your crease and eyebrow bone area.
  4. Last step is to line your upper and lower lids using a fine tip brush with the color “FOREVER YOURS.” This purple is one of my favorite colors from the whole palette and looks beautiful with green eyes!

Branching out with different colors and playing with new makeup looks is so fun, and I’m loving these new premium eyeshadow palettes from COVERGIRL! As you can see in my photos, there are four different palettes in this new line:

All of these beautiful palettes are available RIGHT NOW at Walmart! #Runnnn! I would highly recommend these palettes, the colors are beautiful and highly pigmented but also easy to blend. Plus they’re very affordable!
