This weekend my husband and I spent some time at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival in Woodburn, Oregon. It was a really beautiful day! There were rows and rows of different breeds of tulips. We also had a great view of the mountains!

We also saw a lot of really fun activities for the kiddos; it kind of looked like a little mini festival! Admission was only $5.00 per person ($20.00 max per car) and we got to walk through the fields of tulips and sit down in the grass and watch the hot air balloon while enjoying a nice little picnic together.

I decided to keep my look casual with a pair of Adriano Goldschmied slouchy slim boyfriend jeans and my L.A. tank from Poshmark! It was a tad chilly earlier in the day so I layered with a grey kimono shrug from Forever XXI, threw on a pair of sandals and fun earrings and I was ready to go to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival!

I kept my hair and makeup simple and fresh with an easy blowout and I my new bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in Opal 01. I am in LOVE with the bareMinerals! They’re products are so natural looking and lightweight and perfect for summer.

Do you have any fun flower festivals in your area? We also have a peony garden and lavender festival every summer. They’re so fun and the smell…OMG! I definitely recommend checking them out if you head this way in the late spring/summer! Here are a few more recent pics from the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival as well!
