easy spring makeup routine

Hey babes! I realized I haven’t been sharing much makeup and beauty stuffs with you lately, so today’s post is going to be my easy every day spring makeup routine! Lately I’ve been pretty basic with my skincare and makeup routine. Since it’s spring, I really just want to look fresh and glowing, and with these products, that’s exactly what I achieve!

Easy Spring Makeup

This makeup that I’m sharing with you guys today is what I use for my go-to every day makeup look. I do add a few items on those days where I’m doing something special, like going out on a date with the hubs or a blogging event. However, for my day-to-day look, these are the only products that I use!

bareMinerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener

This is my favorite under-eye brightener/concealer. This product provides a sheer coverage, but it does such a great job at brightening that you actually feel like you are getting more coverage than you really are. It blends out really easily with your fingers, so you don’t need a brush, and it looks so natural on the skin that I can wear it without a foundation and it still looks great! I wear the shade Luminous 2 and I love it!

NYX Cosmetics Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator

This product is a liquid highlighter, and I love using it on my cheekbones, nose, and cupid’s bow. I also will add this product to my eyelids if I want a little shimmer, or in the middle of my lips on top of a lipstick. I have this in the color LI01 Sunbeam, and it’s a really pretty pinky shimmer color. I usually apply this to the areas that I want to highlight right after my concealer.

treStique Baby Blush Stick

I’ve been loving cream blushes and highlights lately, and that’s one reason why I’m obsessed with the treStique Baby Blush Stick. I actually got this in my Ipsy Glam Bag several months ago, and at first I wasn’t impressed because I was trying to apply it with my fingers and it didn’t work well for me. However, now what I do is apply it directly to my cheeks and blend it out with the Ulta Blush Brush, and it adds a really pretty coral flush to my cheeks. The benefit of using this cream blush, in my opinion, is that it adds more of a natural glow, since it doesn’t look powdery. I use the shade Bora Bora Coral, but if you purchase the set from Sephora (click the heading above) you get the blush, as well as a cream concealer and contour stick!

bareMinerals Original Mineral Veil

I have a few different setting powders that I love, but lately I’ve been using this one from bareMinerals. I like it because it is very finely milled and is super soft and easy to apply. It also comes in a small travel size, which is great because I love keeping all of my go-to makeup in a small bag to carry around with me. I also have this in the SPF 25 version, and I’ll admit, I don’t like that one as well as the Original finish. I like to use this product to set the areas where I apply the concealer (under the eyes, on the chin and forehead).

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer

This is by far my favorite brow pencil that I’ve ever used. I’m really sad cause I’m almost out, I really need to get to Ulta and buy a new one! I use the shade taupe, and it’s the perfect color for my weird ass brows lol. If you’re blonde but have dark eyebrows, then I highly recommend this brow pencil for you! It has the pencil on one end that twists out, and also a spooly at the other end to brush through your brows with. So basically, it’s the perfect brow pencil!

H&M Clear Brow Gel

I bought this brow gel during H&M’s Black Friday Sale, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. It’s really great because it doesn’t make your brows feel like their super glued to your face, but it still has a good amount of hold. It’s also reeeeally cheap (holla!), and you get a lot of product for such a small tube.

Tweezerman Great Grip Eyelash Curler

I’ve talked about this eyelash curler in a post before, but they’re still the best I’ve ever tried and I use them every day, so I figured I’d mention them again! They’re pretty inexpensive and available at your local drug store or Fred Meyer. They’re a great go-to tool for your every day easy spring makeup routine!

That’s it for the my easy spring makeup product routine! I do use a mascara as well, but I alternate depending on what I have (I have tons of travel sized mascaras so I’m using them up before I go and buy a full sized mascara), so I didn’t want to mention it here. What are your go-to products for easy spring makeup? Let me know in the comments below!
