You guys know I love to go wine tasting, and this past weekend in Southern Oregon, I did just that! My lovely best friend, Colleen, and I went to Roxy Ann Winery in Medford, Oregon first. It was such a gorgeous day that we decided to walk around the grounds a bit as well! They are really beautiful, they even have weddings there sometimes and I could definitely see how they would be really amazing!
Unfortunately and for some reason I didn’t get any pictures of the Roxy Ann Winery, so the above picture is one that I found on the internet instead 🙂 I think my most favorite wine at Roxy Ann Winery were the two whites that we tasted! I don’t know why, but I am loving the fresh and crisp white wines lately! Maybe it’s this heat wave that we are having in Portland, but with summer coming, I feel like I’m definitely going to be gravitating more towards those chilled white wines!
The second and last winery we went to was DANCIN Vineyards. This winery is so incredibly beautiful! It made me feel like I was actually in Italy, sitting and having some super yummy margherita pizza and tasting some delicious Italian wine with Colleen (oh wait, that’s in September!). Regardless though, I loved DANCIN Vineyards!
This area that we sat it was a quaint little patio! In the background you can see the building that houses the tasting room, and right outside of that are the koi ponds! You’re also sitting right next to the vineyards, which is really amazing!
I think the best part about the DANCIN Vineyards was that they give you all of your tastes in little shooter glasses so that you can sit outside on the patio or in the back grassy area and just relax and enjoy your time!
